Ongoing Project

Over the summer of 2024, I began learning the art of perfumery. I started by attending a course on the basics, and have since been researching and working with a wide range of new materials to create niche fragrances.

I am now a student member of the British Society Of Perfumers, and to further my knowledge on safety I have completed Sarah McCartney’s (4160Tuesdays) course on IFRA restrictions and EU standards. I have also been featured in an interview with the fragrance newsletter The Code Of The Creative.

As a concept project, I am creating a bespoke fragrance for the Gaziano & Girling shop I work at on Savile Row. Following a full bespoke process, beginning with an initial discussion followed by  a number of subsequent consultations,  the process is similar to that of fitting our bespoke shoes.

The aim is to create a brand concept fragrance inspired by the shop and the history of the brand, encapsulating elements of leather, polish, and oak panelled drawing rooms.
